There are 2 main ways to film at night in the field the first being white light ,Today we have battery operated LED lighting making it light weight and colour correctable,or the other option is using again LED lighting but making it near Infrared (850nM) such as the Bosch UFLED units and using something like the Canon XF100/105 style of camera.
